An update on “Updates”

Written by george on Monday, June 21st, 2010

We’ve been busy over the last few months on a number of updates that we have been rolling out for Tactile CRM and we thought it was about time we became a bit more vocal about what we have been doing.

We will still announce new updates via the Tactile CRM dashboard and newsletter when they are available, but we will now be providing more regular updates on our new updates page on the Tactile CRM website.

Whilst we were at it, we’ve also updated the roadmap to be more accurate about our current plans, and a new release page shows what the major releases we have been working on it.

All these pages will be kept regularly updated as part of our new plans to keep you in the loop of what has been going on.

We’re pleased to announce the latest integration with Tactile CRM thanks to the hard work of the team at Contactology.

Contactology is an email marketing software built for business that allows you to easily create, send and track email messages, newsletters and more. Using the new Tactile CRM import driver users can:

  • Import contact data directly into your Contactology account from Tactile CRM.
  • Contactology imports the Tactile CRM custom field data allowing users to personalise their email marketing campaigns
  • Contactology automatically dedups your list
  • All unsubscribe data is managed within Contactology, eliminating the need for Tactile CRM users to manage email marketing preferences.

You can see how the integration works in the video below, and full details are available on the Contactology blog.

New: Last contacted, opportunity history and more with our new stats

Written by Jake on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

Following on from our earlier post where we introduced the new sales report in Tactile CRM, the second new feature we released today is the summary stats feature.

This new feature has been added to organisations, people and opportunities and allows you to see at a glance the key facts about what you are looking at.

Organisations and People Stats

About to contact an organisation or person? Now you can see when they were last contacted, what there is in the sales pipeline and what your win rate and average time to close has been on previous opportunities/deals.

Organisation View

Opportunity Stats

We’ve also updated the stats and opportunity views so that you can easily update the pipeline stage on opportunities and see the opportunity/deal value, probability and expected close date/age.

Opportunity Stats

These new stats are now available in Tactile CRM for users on paid plans. We hope you find it a useful addition to Tactile CRM and as always would value any feedback or suggestions you have that can make Tactile CRM even better.

Updated: Issues with old dropbox system

Written by Jake on Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Our old ISP is currently having some network routing issues that may delay the receipt of emaisl sent to the old dropbox system. They are working on resolving it ASAP, but in the meantime you can use the new dropbox system that is working fine (and all users should be migrating to this month).

Update: Everything is now back to normal
