The Unscheduled System Maintenance event has now been completed. The Tactile CRM service has now been restored.

The cause was a hardware failure at our data center. The hardware has been replaced. We apologise for the short period of unavailability.

We’ve detected an issue with one of our database servers. An engineer is currently assigned to the issue, and we hope to have it resolved soon. An update will be posted here once the service has been restored.

We are pleased to announce the next stage in the upgrade to our system infrastructure on the 29th May.

We will be upgrading our core database server to increase system performance which will allow us to roll out further improvements in the system (including updates to the search tool).

The first stage of this will be moving the Tactile CRM database to a new server. To do this we will be taking the system offline at 06:00am (GMT+1) on 29/5/2011 and Tactile CRM will be unavailable for up to 3 hours whilst we perform this move. We will keep you posted on the progress at here (and we hope it will take less time than this).

Once the new database server is in place we will then be able to look at rolling out the new functionality in the coming weeks/months.

Routine Maintenance Schedule for 12/12/10 at 0630 GMT

We have made provisions to update our infrastructure to increase the speed of Tactile CRM and allow us to release new features, including improved search.

To allow us to do this we need to undertake some database maintainence prior to the upgrade. This pre-upgrade maintenance will take place on Sunday 12th December at 6.30am GMT for up to two hours.

Tactile CRM will be unavailable for this period.

Once this maintenance has been completed we will schedule in the full system upgrade.

Issues Adding Items

We have had reports from a small number of users that some of the ‘quick add’ links are not behaving as expected. As an intermediate measure we have rolled back a recent update and are investigating the issue.

Intermittent Access

We’ve been notified by our monitoring systems that some people may be having intermittent access to our system. This matter has resolved itself and lasted for about 20 minutes.

Updated: Issues with old dropbox system

Our old ISP is currently having some network routing issues that may delay the receipt of emaisl sent to the old dropbox system. They are working on resolving it ASAP, but in the meantime you can use the new dropbox system that is working fine (and all users should be migrating to this month).

With the move to our new infrastructure we’ve setup a new resource for system and status updates for Tactile CRM. You can visit the new page which is hosted in a different data centre to our main service (so if in the unlikely scenario something does go wrong it will still be available to keep you up to date).
