System Maintenance (Tactile CRM unavailable at 29/5/2011 at 06:00 GMT+1)

We are pleased to announce the next stage in the upgrade to our system infrastructure on the 29th May.

We will be upgrading our core database server to increase system performance which will allow us to roll out further improvements in the system (including updates to the search tool).

The first stage of this will be moving the Tactile CRM database to a new server. To do this we will be taking the system offline at 06:00am (GMT+1) on 29/5/2011 and Tactile CRM will be unavailable for up to 3 hours whilst we perform this move. We will keep you posted on the progress at here (and we hope it will take less time than this).

Once the new database server is in place we will then be able to look at rolling out the new functionality in the coming weeks/months.

Bulk Adding Activities

We are really pleased to announce the release of a new feature to Tactile CRM that users have been asking for.

Bulk adding of activities is now live on all accounts and lets you easily add an activity to multiple Organisations, People or Opportunities.

This is a great way to schedule a number of phone calls or activities for members of your team or maybe you have another use – just let us know in the comments.

Add Multiple Contacts Against Opportunities

Tactile CRM now lets you record multiple contacts against an opportunity. This is one of the most requested features by users and it is now live on all accounts.

Multiple opportunity contacts is a great way to record all the extra contacts that are working on an opportunity with you. It might be you want to record the people who are ‘Decision Makers’ and ‘Budget Holders’, or the a certain company will be a ‘Supplier’ or competitor.
