Themes and Logos now in Tactile CRM

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

We know how nice it is to have your IT systems match your corporate colours and branding so our team at Tactile CRM have been working hard to add some great features which we released this week – Themes & Logos.

Admin users can now select one of six specially created colour themes which will appear for all users.

Another feature we are often asked about is the ability to upload logos for organisations, well now you can! When viewing an organisation, a box will appear allowing you to upload a logo. If you upload a logo for your own company, it will appear on everyone’s dashboard.

We love getting feedback from our users and it influences the roadmap for Tactile CRM, if you have any ideas, feedback or suggestions do get in touch!

Tactile CRM API released

Friday, April 24th, 2009

One of the most popular feature requests we have received for Tactile CRM is to release an API so that users can build on the system and work with their data in their own ways.

Picture of a CogWe’re pleased to announce that after a lot of hardwork this month the team have finished the first version, and you can now start to use it.

Full details are available in the documentation on the website (it’s a bit technical) and we’d love to hear your thoughts, comments, and suggestions as always!

Here are some cool ways you might find it useful, and let us know how you end up using it:

  1. Automatically insert contact form details from your website into Tactile CRM – no need to rekey data
  2. Invite people to sign up for a webinar via your website and automatically add an activity into your calendar
  3. Integrate your in-house systems
  4. Anything else you can think of!

Friday, April 17th, 2009

We’re pleased to announce a new feature we rolled out last week to Tactile CRM to allow admin users to update your contact details:

It’s a small thing that can make a big difference – you can correct any email mistakes (incase you weren’t getting emails from us correctly) and update where you are in the World – it’s nice for us to know where you are from, but from a more practical stand point, if we look at localisation we’ll use this setting too.

Remember, we always take feedback seriously and it influences our roadmap for Tactile CRM, if you have any ideas, feedback or suggestions do let us know!

Easily get your contacts into Tactile CRM with Cloud Contacts

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Keeping your contact database up to date can always be difficult, typing in business cards after a networking event can be a chore – but not anymore!

We’re proud to announce the integration of the excellent CloudContacts system with Tactile CRM. It’s as easy as 1,2,3 to import your business cards:

  1. Collect your business cards, pop them in an envelope and send them off
  2. Download a CSV specially formatted for Tactile CRM
  3. Use the CloudContacts link in Tactile CRM to import

CloudContacts takes your business cards and puts them to work for you with Tactile CRM.

Instead of storing your business cards in a pile on your desk or in one physical location, CloudContacts provides transcription and allows you to access your contacts at any time.

You can now import your business cards directly into Tactile CRM and rapidly populate your CRM system, keep your notes up to date and share the information with your team.
