We're a web 2.0 company that wants to talk to people!

Written by Jake on Friday, February 6th, 2009 at 4:22 pm.

Our simple online web CRM tool – Tactile CRM is designed to help companies build on their customer communications and forge better relationships. We are firm believers in the ‘practice what you preach’ mantra and were using our own software before we even released it to the World so we could test and refine it.

We always make sure we respond to emails and support tickets in a timely manner, but we’ve always made it clear that we don’t give support etc. by phone.

However, all of this will be changing over the next month as we move Tactile CRM into the new company and restructure stuff.

Forums will still be available for people on free plans, email support on all paid plans and we’re going to introduce phone support on some of the higher plans.

We’ll also be opening up the phones for non-support calls so people can find out more about the software, who we are and what we do – so keep an eye out for more information over the next month.

With the 70′s phone image and scroll separaters, Omelett is portraying a very retro look and feel. Is this a deliberate polarisation with your cutting edge software?

Great news. I’m not a huge phone user but sometimes you just want to speak to a person and with so many web-based companies there just isn’t that option. So kudos.

I’m trialling Tactile CRM at the moment. Liking it so far, just wishing it was a bit…prettier. Silly, I know!

@Steve – we were going for a clean look and feel on omelett.es and the brand is seperate to Tactile CRM, which has a new updated site to be launched soon.

@Hayley – you wish has been answered, our new updated ‘pretty’ interface is just being tested and will be available in the next couple of weeks!

Woot! If you want any more beta testers, I’d love to.
